New project: Priming effects of moss leachates on soil organic matter dynamics

A new project (PI: Marianne Koranda) has received funding from Austrian Science Fund (FWF). The project will investigate the effects of metabolites leached from bryophytes after drying-rewetting cycles on soil microbial processes and community composition and elucidate the implications for ecosystem carbon and nutrient cycling.
